Massimo Bruno (born September 17, 1993 in Boussu ) is a Belgian football player of Italian descent who has been under contract with Sporting Charleroi since the end of August 2018 .

Beginnings
Massimo Bruno was born to Italian parents - his mother comes from Naples and his father from Sicily - in the province of Hainaut . Bruno started out with club football in Frameries but was quickly spotted by RAEC Mons . In 2002 he moved to Anderlecht, where he played at the RSC for four years under the youth coach Frédéric Peiremans . At the age of twelve, he suffered a severe heel injury, which put him out of action for four months and which resulted from a surge in growth . RSC Anderlecht

On June 15, 2014, the Austrian Bundesliga club FC Red Bull Salzburg announced the signing of Bruno. According to the club, he received a five-year contract until June 30, 2019. However, the DFL transfer list later revealed that the German second division promoted team - and also a Red Bull- operated club - RB Leipzig signed Bruno from RSC Anderlecht and for the 2014/15 season on loan to FC Red Bull Salzburg. RSC Anderlecht
On August 30, 2016, Bruno moved back to his former club RSC Anderlecht on loan . In the 2016/17 season he made 23 appearances in the regular season, in which he scored three goals.
