Maurilio Silvani
Maurilio Silvani (born August 24, 1882 in Isola San Antonio , Italy , † December 22, 1947 in Vienna , Austria ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Maurilio Silvani received on 17 June 1905, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On July 24, 1936, Pope Pius XI appointed him . the titular archbishop of Naupactus and ordered him to apostolic nuncio in Haiti . The Cardinal Secretary of State Eugenio Pacelli donated him episcopal ordination on September 13 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Alessandria , Nicola Milone , and the Archbishop of the Curia Giuseppe Pizzardo .
On May 23, 1942, Pope Pius XII appointed him. to the Apostolic Nuncio in Chile . Maurilio Silvani became Apostolic Internuntius in Austria on November 4, 1946 .
