Maximilian Welzmüller (born January 10, 1990 in Munich ) is a German soccer player . The defensive midfielder will play for the second team of FC Bayern Munich in the fourth-class Bayern Munich regional league from summer 2018 , but has also played in the second and third division .

Career

In his youth, Welzmüller played at SV Inning, SC Fürstenfeldbruck and TSV 1860 Munich . In 2009 he went to the second division FSV Frankfurt and played there in the second team in the fifth class Hessenliga . With five goals in 33 games, he made a significant contribution to the championship and the associated promotion to the Regionalliga Süd . In 2010 he went to SpVgg Greuther Fürth . There he played in the second team for two years. In summer 2012 he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching , where he signed for two years. In the third division he became a regular player and was named team captain in his second year. For the 2014/15 season he was signed by the second division VfR Aalen , with Weizmüller also signed a two-year contract.

After four years in Aalen, the association complied with Welzmüller's request to move the center of his life back to Munich and the contract was canceled. Welzmüller moved to the fourth-rate regional league Bayern to the second team of FC Bayern Munich and signed a three-year contract there.
