Athletic career

society

Kilian Senkbeil comes from Machern , a community a few kilometers east of Leipzig. He started playing club football at the age of six at the local SV Tresenwald Machern. He played there for four years before joining 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig , one of Leipzig's two great traditional clubs. He stayed there for only a year, however, because in 2010, now eleven years old, he switched to the RB Leipzig club, which was founded by the Austrian Red Bull group the previous year . There Senkbeil went through the various youth teams. In 2015, as a B-youth, he and his team reached the semi-finals of the German B-Junior Championship , where they were clearly inferior to the eventual title winner Borussia Dortmund . From the spring of 2016 he started playing for the A-youth , moved up to the U19 in the summer and became their team captain a year later . That season he played several games in the UEFA Youth League with his team , but was eliminated from the competition early on.

After eight years at RB Leipzig, successfully completing high school and having outgrown adolescence, Senkbeil's further career path led to the amateurs of FC Bayern Munich , who played in the fourth-class Bayern regional league and were aiming for promotion to the third division . As part of the preparation for the season, he was used in two test games for the professional team of FC Bayern Munich, just as a short time later in the Allianz Arena in the farewell game for Bastian Schweinsteiger . However, he denied everyday life with the amateur team and could not fight for a regular place there. During the season he was only used in 13 of the 36 competitive games, most of which were also short appearances as a substitute. At the Premier League International Cup , a competition between English and continental European U23 teams in England, he played several games for the Bayern amateurs and thus contributed to winning the title. At the end of the regional league season, Senkbeil and his team made it to the third division. In the first third division game, a 3-1 defeat at the Würzburger Kickers , Senkbeil played for the full time, but a short time later he suffered a meniscus tear and was out for several weeks. From October he came to four more missions for the Bayern amateurs until the winter break, before the next injury stopped him. From March to May 2020, the season was then interrupted due to the corona pandemic . After the resumption of gaming with ghost games at the end of May, Senkbeil came back to several missions.

National team

Senkbeil played for several German junior national teams between 2015 and 2017. He was last used in October 2017 for the U19 national team .
