Maximilian Zaiser (born March 8, 1999 ) is a German soccer player . He can be used variably in various positions in midfield and defense , mostly he plays in central midfield . At the age of 13, he moved from TSV 1860 Rosenheim to the youth team at FC Bayern Munich . Since summer 2018 he has played in the amateur team of FC Bayern , with which he was promoted to the third division in summer 2019 .

career

Maximilian Zaiser played in the youth team of TSV 1860 Rosenheim until summer 2012, at that time a partner club of FC Bayern Munich in the youth field. Players from Rosenheim came to Säbener Strasse again and again, including the future world champion Bastian Schweinsteiger . At the age of 13, Zaiser also took this path and initially played at FC Bayern under the former Austrian national player Harald Cerny in the U14, the younger C-youth team of FC Bayern, who played their point games in the C-Junior Bayern League South without exception played against U15 teams. At the end of his first season in the state capital he finished fourth in that league with FC Bayern. From then on he went through the other youth teams of the club, but was often thrown back due to injuries. In the 2016/17 season , his first year with the A-Juniors , he only made three short appearances in the league and was otherwise only a spectator, including the final of the German A-Juniors championship in Dortmund's Westfalenstadion, which was lost on penalties against the host Borussia . His second A youth year went much better for him personally, he played most of the games, regularly in the UEFA Youth League . However, this time the team missed qualifying for the final round of the German championship. In the summer of 2018 he had outgrown his youth, so he continued with the Bayern amateurs in the fourth-class Bavarian Regional League . Before that, however, he was allowed to travel to the USA for a test match with the - albeit not complete - Bundesliga team of FC Bayern and was also used for one half. However, he played everyday football with the amateur team, but was only rarely considered there, a total of 12 times in the 34 point games and the two promotion games against the second representative of VfL Wolfsburg took place without him.

After the team had just managed to prevail against Wolfsburg, Zaiser's everyday life in the third division was even more sad. He did not play any more league appearances until March 2020 and then the game was canceled due to the corona pandemic . After resumption of play at the end of May with ghost games , however, Zaiser was regularly used and was always in the starting XI.
