Josip Stanisic (born April 2, 2000 ; Croatian spelling Josip Stanišić ) is a German - Croatian football player who is mostly used as a central defender , but sometimes also as a right -back. In his youth he played for TSV 1860 Munich for a long time and then came to FC Bayern Munich via SC Fürstenfeldbruck , for whose amateur team he now plays in the third division . Stanisic, who has both German and Croatian citizenship, decided to play for Germany and played two international matches for the German U19 national team in 2018 .
Athletic career
societies
Stanisic already played in the E-Jugend for the then second division club TSV 1860 Munich and stayed there until the summer of 2015. When he was 15, he switched to SC Fürstenfeldbruck in front of the city gates . He stayed there for a year and a half and was then signed by FC Bayern Munich for their U17s in January 2017 . In preparation for the second half of the season, however, Stanisic suffered an ankle fracture and was out for the rest of the season. Thus he also missed winning the German B-Junior Championship .
In the summer of 2017, the injury was healed and Stanisic was then transferred to the U19s without having played a single competitive game for the U17s . There he quickly earned a regular place, but was out for a long time in the winter due to injury. The season was rather moderately successful for the A-Juniors trained by Sebastian Hoeneß ; In the league they failed on the last matchday of the A-Junioren-Bundesliga to qualify for the final round of the German A-Junior Championship and the team was eliminated early in both cup competitions ( UEFA Youth League and DFB-Junior-Pokal ).
In the summer of 2018 Stanisic played part of the season preparation with the professional team of FC Bayern and was also used in two games in Klagenfurt and Philadelphia . However, Stanisic continued to play everyday life with the A-Juniors and was the new team captain there in his second season . He had to undergo groin surgery in January and was absent for several weeks. In that season, too, the team missed the final round of the German championship, with fourth place even quite clearly, and the two cup competitions again ended early.
Stanisic was then taken over into the squad of amateurs who had just been promoted to the 3rd division for the 2019/20 season . His previous trainer Sebastian Hoeneß went the same way. In the third division, Stanisic initially made a steady change between the starting eleven and appearances as a substitute. The rest of the season is characterized by three longer injury breaks for him.
National team
Stanisic has both German and Croatian citizenship and decided to play for Germany in 2018, much to the displeasure of the Croatian Football Association . The association then assumed that FC Bayern Munich and Stanisic's advisor Dieter Hoeneß had influenced him in this regard. In November 2018 Stanisic played two games for the German U19 national team in a four-nation tournament in Armenia . Since then there have been no further appearances for DFB selections.
