Maximilian von Voss

Maximilian von Voss (born January 10, 1849 in Halle (Saale) , † December 17, 1911 in Jena ) was a German landlord, administrative lawyer and member of the Kingdom of Prussia.

Life

As the son of Franz von Voss , v. Voss to study law at the University of Jena and the University of Leipzig . He became active in the Corps Franconia Jena and the Corps Misnia Leipzig (III) in 1869 . When he was inactive , he moved to the Friedrichs University in Halle . She received his doctorate in 1873 as Dr. iur. After the exams he joined Prussia's internal administration as a government assessor. In 1878 he became district administrator in the local Merseburg district . In 1883 he moved to the Saarland district of Ottweiler as district administrator . Since 1885 in Saarbrücken , he became in 1887 Councilor in Koblenz. In 1892 he came to the police chief in Berlin . Two years later he became the representative of the district president in the Marienwerder district . In 1901 he came to the Frankfurt administrative district in the same position . Retired in 1904 as a senior councilor, he devoted himself to the administration of his estates Grünhof, drug mill , Ogrosen , Erlenau , Gahlen , Missen and Petersberg . He was involved in the farmers' association . He was head of office and sat in the provincial parliament of the province of Saxony . For Berkenbrügge in the Arnswalde district he came to the Prussian House of Representatives on September 12, 1907 through a by-election as a member of the Frankfurt 1 constituency (Arnswalde, Friedeberg) . He belonged to it until his death at the age of 62. He was a member of the Conservative Party faction . In the Prussian Army he was first lieutenant in the reserve .
