Medfield Meadow Lots is a 16  acres (6.5  hectare ) nature reserve near Medfield in the state of Massachusetts in the United States , administered by The Trustees of Reservations .

Protected area

The reserve consists entirely of a floodplain of the Charles River and is therefore only accessible by canoe or kayak . It includes the three marshland parcels Pratt Meadow , Perry Meadow and Hinsdale Meadow . In the upper Charles River Valley between Norfolk and Dedham , where the Medfield Meadow Lots are also located, the Trustees manage a variety of protected areas totaling nearly 4,000 acres (16.2 km²).
