Chase Woodlands is an 85  acres (34.4  hectare ) nature reserve near the city of Dover in the state of Massachusetts in the United States , administered by The Trustees of Reservations .

Weymouth pine , beech , hemlock and yellow birch dominate the forest of the reserve, which has belonged to the Chase family since the 1950s , who gave it to the Trustees in 1993 and which has been named since then . It is entirely new plantings, as the original forest was cleared in the late 18th and early 19th centuries to make space for agriculture. A total of 2.5  mi (4  km ) of hiking trails partially connected to the regional Charles River Link Trail are available. There is also a connection to the neighboring Peters Reservation protected area, which is also managed by the trustees .
