The Messerschmitt Me 609 was a draft of a German high-speed bomber or destroyer towards the end of the Second World War.

Analogous to the Messerschmitt Bf 109 Z series, two hulls of the Messerschmitt Me 309 should be assembled on the Me 609 . The basic intention was to simplify a new design or to standardize the various models. In this project, numerous elements of the existing Me 309 could have been adopted; only the connecting wing and tail unit parts would have had to be redesigned.

Various automatic cannons and up to 2000 kg bombs were provided as armament. The calculated maximum speed was given as 720 km / h.

Since the development of the Me 309 was stopped after 4 prototypes, this project did not get beyond the design phase.
