The Messerschmitt Bf 162 "Jaguar" was a German bomber plane that was built in three prototypes for a bomber tender of the Reich Aviation Ministry . However, the tender was won by the Ju 88 . Messerschmitt derived the Bf 162 from the Bf 110 ; except for the hull, it corresponded to the Bf 110 B, which was already in series production. The project ended after the tender.

The machine offered space for three crew members, had a fully glazed bow and a widened cockpit cover.
