The Messerschmitt P.1100 was a concept based on the Messerschmitt Me 262 for a jet-powered all-weather destroyer with a pressurized cabin from Messerschmitt GmbH which was designed in early 1943.

description

Messerschmitt designed two different versions of the P.1100. While the first was designed as an all-weather fighter and should have a rigid forward-facing weapon system (4 × 3 cm MK 108), the second variant was planned as a destroyer. This also had rear-facing weapons systems. The weapon system of the P.1100 should be able to be increased even further with different kits . Among other things, the installation of a MK 114 for 5 cm mine grenades was planned. In a first study, the jet engine of the type Jumo 004 C manufactured by Junkers was to be used. However, Messerschmitt planned to replace this with the more powerful Heinkel-Hirth HeS 011 . The fuselage of the machine was to be created in a shell construction. Five bulletproof fuel tanks were to be accommodated in the middle, which together gave a capacity of 3000 l.
