Michael Rimbeck (born August 11, 1989 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing at SC Riessersee from the DEL2 since February 2010 .

Career

Rimbeck began his ice hockey career in the youngsters of the SC Riessersee , where he passed through several age groups and played in the German youth league, among other things . In the 2005/06 season , the winger was in the senior squad of SC Riessersee for the first time and played his first games in the major league . A year later, the right-shooter was already part of the regular squad, but was also temporarily used in the DNL. After the team from Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the game of 2006/07 in the 2. Bundesliga had risen, and the 1.81 m wide attacker came regularly in the second highest German league used. He played a total of 48 games in which he was able to achieve five points scorer .

In summer 2008 Bayer signed a contract with EV Duisburg from the German Ice Hockey League . There he was given a sponsorship license , so that in the 2008/09 season he was also eligible to play in the major league for cooperation partner Herner EV . After the Füchse Duisburg relegated to insolvency, Rimbeck moved to ERC Ingolstadt , where he was given a production license for the Heilbronner Falken .

In February 2010 he returned to his hometown club, but initially got no further contract in July 2011, but kept fit during the summer break at SC Riessersee and hoped in vain for offers from other clubs. Thanks to Zdeněk Trávníček , the new coach of SC Riessersee, Rimbeck initially received a contract that ran until the end of October 2011.
