Michele Lupo

Michele Lupo (born December 4, 1932 in Corleone , † June 27, 1989 in Rome ) was an Italian film director .

Life

Lupo began his career in the film business as an assistant editor and quickly received offers as an assistant director , in which capacity he often worked with Camillo Mastrocinque .

He made his debut as a director in 1962 and made primarily sandal films and later spaghetti westerns . At the end of the 1970s, he was best known for comedies with the leading actor Bud Spencer . His genre films are characterized by visual ingenuity and clever scripts.
