Michelle Nolden (born c. 1973 in Brantford , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress .

life and career

Michelle Nolden was born in the city ​​of Brantford in the province of Ontario , 30 km southwest of the Canadian metropolis Toronto , and grew up here. After graduating from St. John's College, she trained in acting and dance at The Ryerson's Theater School in Toronto. In addition, she took private acting lessons from Uta Hagen , David Rotenberg, Bruce Clayton, Miriam Lawrence, The Actors Network and other institutions. Her film debut in 1998 laid the foundation for an extensive filmography. Michelle Nolden became known in German-speaking countries through her participation in the 2007 feature film All Hat and the 2009 film of the same name, based on the bestselling novel The Time Traveler's Wife , in which she played the mother of the main character Henry DeTamble, played by Eric Bana . In the 2007 short film Loonie , Nolden worked for the first time as a screenwriter and director. In April 2012 Nolden got the lead role as Carol in Vincenzo Natali's mystery thriller "Haunter".

Michelle Nolden is married to producer Chris Szarka. The two have a son named Alex.
