Mira Antonitsch (born December 16, 1998 ) is an Austrian tennis player .

Career

Mira Antonitsch is the daughter of the former ATP tennis player Alexander Antonitsch and sister of the ice hockey player Sam Antonitsch . She started playing tennis at the age of five and mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , where she has won two singles titles and four doubles titles. As a young Austrian player, she is a member of the Generali Young Ladies .

On the WTA Tour in 2015 she received a wildcard for qualification at the Nuremberg Insurance Cup and the Nuremberg Gastein Ladies in Bad Gastein as well as at the Generali Ladies Linz ; but she was eliminated in all three tournaments in her opening match. In 2015 she played in the 2nd division of the German Bundesliga for the LTTC Rot-Weiß Berlin .

In 2019 she was nominated for the first time for the Austrian Fed Cup team . In her first double she achieved a match against Bosnia and Herzegovina together with Sinja Kraus, a win against Anita Husarić and Jelena Simić without a fight .
