Gabriella Taylor (born March 7, 1998 ) is a British tennis player .

Career

Taylor mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won six singles and three doubles titles so far.

In 2014, she received a wildcard to qualify for Wimbledon . In the first qualifying round she defeated the Swede Sofia Arvidsson surprisingly clearly 6: 1 and 6: 3, but then she had to admit defeat to Tereza Smitková with 3: 6 and 4: 6. In 2015 she failed there in the first round of qualification against her compatriot Tara Moore . In 2016 , she was able to defeat Lourdes Domínguez Lino 7: 5 and 7: 6 ⁸ with a wildcard in the first round of qualification , before narrowly failing Vania King with 7: 5, 4: 6 and 4: 6 .
