Monique Henderson
Monique Marie Henderson (born February 18, 1983 in San Diego ) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter route , and Olympic relay champion .
In 1999 Monique Henderson became World Youth Champion in Bydgoszcz in 52.28 seconds.
In 2000, at the age of 17, she set a US junior and high school 400 meters record in 50.74 seconds . Then she was accepted into the American Olympic team, but was not used.
In 2002 she was two-time junior world champion in Kingston in the 400-meter run (51.10 s) and with the 4-by-400-meter relay of the United States.
At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens she won the team gold medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay together with her teammates DeeDee Trotter , Sanya Richards and Monique Hennagan .
In 2005 she was seventh at the World Championships in Helsinki .
Monique Henderson has a competition weight of 54 kg with a height of 1.70 m.
