Mpolonjeni is an Inkhundla (administrative unit) in Swaziland . It is 581 km² and is named after the place of the same name on the MR 16 road ( ⊙ ). According to the 2007 census, Inkhundla had 20,563 inhabitants.

geography

The Inkhundla is centrally located in the Lubombo region . A large part of the area is protected as the Mhkaya Game Reserve . The main traffic artery is the MR 16 , which runs through the plain in the east of the district. The waters in Inkhundla are mainly tributaries of the Ngwavuma .

structure

The district is divided into the Imiphakatsi (chief districts) Ka Shoba, Sigcaweni East, Mpolonjeni, Ndzangu and Ngcina.
