The Municipio Incahuasi is a district in the Chuquisaca department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The municipality Incahuasi is one of four municipalities in the province of Nor Cinti and includes its southeastern area. It is bordered to the northwest by the Municipio Villa Charcas , to the south by the Province of Sud Cinti , to the east by the Province of Hernando Siles , to the northeast by the Province of Azurduy , and to the north by the Municipio San Lucas .
The municipality extends between about 20 ° 24 'and 20 ° 47' south latitude and 64 ° 14 'and 65 ° 02' west longitude, its extent from west to east is up to 70 kilometers, from north to south up to 45 Kilometre.
The municipality comprised a total of 154 municipalities ( localidades ) up to 2009 , the central place of the municipality is the village Incahuasi with 1,509 inhabitants ( census 2012 ) in the southern part of the district. By law 4131, the municipality Incahuasi was divided into two municipalities on December 23, 2009 by forming the new municipality Villa Charcas from the northwestern part of the canton Incahuasi and the entire canton Santa Elena.

The Municipio Incahuasi is located on the southern foothills of the Bolivian Cordillera Central , between the Altiplano in the west and the Bolivian lowlands in the east. The climate is a cool, moderate mountain climate with a typical time of day climate , in which the temperature differences fluctuate more strongly during the day than during the year.
