NGC 1906 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Scd in the constellation Hare north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 127 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 35,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy IC 415 .
The object was discovered by Francis Leavenworth on November 12, 1885 .
