NGC 5621

NGC 5621 is a three stars existing Asterismus in the constellation Bootes ( right ascension : 14: 27: 50.0; declination : +08: 14: 32). Wilhelm Herschel noted during an observation on January 30, 1784: “eF, vL, not verified ... I suspect an almost imperceptible cluster of stars or nebulosity. ... or large faint nebula or nebulosity ". He then mistakenly believed his discovery to be a galaxy that had such an entry in the catalog.
