The NSU 6/18 PS was a lower middle class passenger car that Neckarsulmer Fahrzeugwerke Aktiengesellschaft built between 1911 and 1914. It was the successor to the 6/14 PS .

The water-cooled engine was a four-cylinder in- line engine with a displacement of 1560 cm³ (bore × stroke = 75 × 88 mm, from 1913: 70 × 100 mm), which made 18 hp (13.2 kW) at 1800 rpm. This engine had a triple bearing crankshaft, magneto ignition , pressure circulation lubrication and standing valves in an L-cylinder head. The power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a leather cone clutch, a three-speed gearbox with a right-hand gate shift and a cardan shaft . The wheelbase of the cars was 2650 mm, their track width was unchanged at 1150 mm (from 1913: 1250 mm) and the weight of the chassis was 680 kg. The top speed was around 60 km / h.

In 1913 the 6/18 PS was revised: its track width increased by 100 mm, it got a new engine with a different bore / stroke ratio, but the same power (see above), as well as a new, oval radiator grille. In 1914, due to the war, production was discontinued without a successor.
