Nahunta is a city and also the county seat of Brantley County in the US state of Georgia with 1053 inhabitants (as of 2010).

The nearest major cities are Brunswick (50 km east), Jacksonville (Florida, 110 km south) and Savannah (140 km northeast).

Nahunta has been the county seat of Brantley County since 1923 .

According to the 2010 census, the then 1053 inhabitants were distributed over 400 inhabited households, which gives an average of 2.48 people per household. There are a total of 479 households.
63.8% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring) with an average size of 3.05 persons. There were children under the age of 18 in 36.0% of all households and persons aged 65 and over in 25.5% of all households.
