Namibia Premier League 2009/10

The 2010/2011 season of the Namibia Premier League took place between September 24, 2010 and May 21, 2011.

Black Africa FC from Windhoek became Namibian soccer champions after the 20th matchday . Oshakati City was already relegated after the 19th matchday, Blue Boys as the second relegated team were determined on the last matchday of the season. The top scorer was Harold Ochurub with twelve goals .

facts and figures

The 2010/2011 season was sponsored by MTC Namibia with N $ 10 million. This corresponds to an increase of N $ 5.5 million compared to the 2009/10 season . It is the highest sponsorship sum ever raised for the sport in Namibia.

The Namibian champions should receive a prize of N $ 1 million, which is an increase of N $ 400,000. The runner-up N $ 300,000, the third-placed N $ 200,000. Due to the positive economic situation, the prize money of the runner-up was increased to N $ 400,000 and that of the third place to N $ 300,000. For the first time, places four to twelve also received prize money between N $ 50,000 and N $ 3500.

Each team also received a monthly allowance of N $ 31,500.
