Natalia Vladimirovna Smirnova
Natalja Wladimirowna Smirnowa ( Russian: Наталья Владимировна Смирнова ; born May 11, 1979 in Novocheboksarsk ) is a Russian wrestler . In 2005 and 2012 she was vice-European champion in the weight classes up to 55 kg and 63 kg body weight, respectively.
Career
Natalia Smirnova started wrestling in her hometown of Almetyevsk in 1995. Your first trainer was Nikolai Petrovich Bjelow. She joined the army and is now a member of the Ver Stavropol sports club . Since 2008 she has been trained by Fersillah Islamow. She came 4th at the European Championships in Seinäjoki / Finland in the weight class up to 55 kg after victories over Sabrina Lotz, Germany and Petya Penkowa, Bulgaria and defeats against Tatjana Lasarewa , Ukraine and Gudrun Annette Høie , Norway. In 2005 she was runner-up in the weight class up to 51 kg in Varna. She defeated Nadine Tokar, Switzerland, Sarka Andrlova, Czech Republic and Ana Maria Pavăl , Romania, but lost in the final to Irina Melnik-Merleni from Ukraine. At the 2005 World Cup she came in 9th place after defeating Rani Poonam from India and losing to Tsogtbadsaryn Enchjargal from Mongolia.
She then won another medal, the bronze, at the 2006 European Championships in Moscow. In the weight class up to 51 kg. She lost there in her first fight against Alexandra Engelhardt from Germany, but then secured this medal with victories over Marta Podeworna, Poland and Maria del Mar Serrano Barcelo from Spain. It was not used at the 2007 World Cup.
In 2008 Natalja Smirnowa was Russian champion in the weight class up to 55 kg ahead of Anna Maksimow and Natalja Golz , but she was not used at the European Championships or the Olympic Games in Beijing. Only at the 2008 World Championships in Tokyo, which took place in addition to the Olympic Games, she was at the start, where after a victory over Miruyet Dinbajewa, Kazakhstan, a defeat against Tatiana Lasarewa, a victory over Nursat Shailobajewa, Kyrgyzstan and a defeat against Ana Maria Pavăl den 6th place. In 2010 Natalya Smirnova failed at the European Championship in Baku with a 5th place in the weight category up to 59 kg less than a medal when she, after a defeat in the first fight against Taybe Yusein from Bulgaria in the repechage initially to a victory over Hanna Wassylenko from Ukraine came, but then lost to Marianna Sastin from Hungary and was eliminated. Natalia Smirnova made her last start at an international championship in 2012 at the European Championships in Belgrade.
