Burleson's second season was his most successful to date. He caught 68 balls for 1,006 yards and nine touchdowns, and started in 15 of 16 games. The next year, Burleson couldn't confirm his performance and the Vikings traded him to the Seattle Seahawks in 2006 . His first year in Seattle wasn't good. He started seven of 15 games but only caught 18 balls for 192 yards. But he still scored two touchdowns. His sophomore year in Seattle was better.
