Nate Seids

Renate Franziska Seids , called Nate Seids , (born May 6, 1942 in Steyr , † 2008 in Munich ) was an Austrian actress .

life and work

Nate Seids grew up in Münichholz and Linz and graduated from high school in Linz in 1960. She then studied painting in Vienna, followed by four semesters of theater studies. She made her stage debut in 1963 at the Theater Experiment am Liechtenwerd in Vienna. She completed her training as an actress from 1965 to 1969 at the renowned Max Reinhardt Seminar .

Further stations in her extensive theater career included the municipal theaters of Augsburg , the State Theaters in Braunschweig and Kassel , the Schauspielhaus Bochum , the National Theater Mannheim and various stages in Munich, such as the Kammerspiele and the Volkstheater .

Nate Seids was seen sporadically on television from 1967, mainly in series such as Das Haus mit Nr. 30 , Der Androjäger or Forsthaus Falkenau . She also appeared in three Derrick episodes and had guest roles in seven Tatort episodes, including Schimanski 's first case in Duisburg-Ruhrort .

Private

Her relationship with her father, the sports and advertising photographer Friedrich Seids, was difficult. After his death in 1989, she burned his entire photographic estate, even though it would have been of great historical importance for the city of her birth.

The death of Nate Seids in late summer 2008 apparently went largely unnoticed by the public. The Oberösterreichische Nachrichten reported on her death in April 2009.
