The house at Neuer Weg 47 is a listed building in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register and is located south of the historic Quedlinburg old town on the west side of the Neuer Weg.

Architecture and history

The small two-storey half - timbered house is significantly smaller than the buildings directly surrounding it. The building was erected in 1683. The upper floor protruding well beyond the ground floor is striking. Based on an inscription A. B , the Quedlinburg master carpenter Andreas Besen is assumed to be the builder of the house .
