The house Neuer Weg 5 is a listed building in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

The building, registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register, is located south of the historic Quedlinburg old town, on the east side of the Neuer Weg. The house Neuer Weg 4 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the north and the house Neuer Weg 6 to the south .

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house has an inscription on the threshold of the first floor, according to which the house was built in 1677. The half-timbered facade is decorated with decorative forms typical of the construction period. So there are notch cuts and pyramid beam heads . The upper floors protrude clearly. The facade was plastered in the 18th century. To the north of the house, which is covered with a gable roof , the street lines recede.
