The house at Neuer Weg 38 is a listed building in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a merchant's house and is located south of the historic Quedlinburg old town.

Architecture and history

The core of the three-storey half - timbered house dates back to 1702, but was extensively renovated at a later date. The roof is shaped by a large dwelling house . The half-timbered facade of the building shows many design elements typical for the construction period. So there are baroque profiled filler wood, ship throats and pyramid beam heads . Inscriptions have been preserved both on the threshold and on the skylight of the door. The front door was built in the early 19th century in a classical style.
