The house Neuer Weg 4 is a listed building in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

The building, registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register, is located south of the historic Quedlinburg old town, on the east side of the Neuer Weg. To the north is the also listed building Neuer Weg 3 , to the south the building Neuer Weg 5, which protrudes from the street .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was named after an inscription on the building by M. PETER DINHAUPT ZI. built by the Quedlinburg master carpenter Peter Dünnehaupt in 1677 for Heinrich Zimmermann . The half-timbered facade is in the railing and in the northern corner Gefach with a diamond pattern decorated. In the southern half of the facade there is a bay-like porch.

In the period around 1890, the ground floor was rebuilt by adding a shop and a gate.
