The house at Neuer Weg 39 is a listed building in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

The building, registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register, is located south of the historic Quedlinburg old town, on the west side of the Neuer Weg. The building, also a listed building, borders on Neuer Weg 38 to the south .

Architecture and history

The three-story half - timbered house was built in the late 17th century. The two upper floors protrude slightly and are still in their original design. A mezzanine floor has been added to the ground floor . In the period around 1905, the ground floor including the mezzanine floor was rebuilt in the Art Nouveau style by adding a shop .
