history
Neuhaus is a Croatian foundation in the 16th century . The first settlers were probably brought here by Nikolaus Zrinyi between 1557 and 1561. According to tradition, they should have come from Erdödyschen Georgshof, located between Kirchfidisch and Deutsch Schützen-Eisenberg . They named the place Dobrava , from which the Hungarians made Dobra and Öridobra . The German name Neuhaus comes from the later German settlers. According to a version from 1852, the school at that time consisted of a log house made of wood; in 1870 it was rebuilt.
After the canonical visitation in 1760, a chapel with a nearby bell tower was built in 1836, which was consecrated to St. Anthony. In the middle of the 20th century, the chapel was replaced by a new church under Mayor Ferdinand Obojkovics.
As part of the implementation of the community structure Improvement Act 1971, the communities were Mischendorf , Kotezicken , Kleinbachselten , Großbach Rarely , Rohrbach an der Teich combined and Neuhaus for greater community Mischendorf.
