Nick Anderson (born July 14, 1979 in Proctor , Minnesota ) is an American ice hockey player who is under contract with the EC Hannover Indians in the Oberliga-Nord .
Career
Anderson began his career in 1997 with the Green Bay Gamblers in the United States Hockey League . He then moved on to the North Iowa Huskies, who also play in the USHL, and in the following season to the Dubuque Fighting Saints. From the 2000/01 season he played five years at the University of Minnesota Duluth in the National Collegiate Athletic Association .
At the end of the 2004/05 season, Anderson moved to the ECHL for the Las Vegas Wranglers , for whom he played three years before moving to Germany for EV feet in the major league . After a good season, in which he was one of the best-scoring defenders in the whole league, he moved to the 2. Bundesliga to the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven . After another good season, he moved to Landshut Cannibals in 2009 .
After disappointing performance early in the season, Anderson was released from the Cannibals. On November 24, 2009 he signed a new contract with the Wölfen Freiburg , for which he scored seven goals and provided six assists in a total of 32 games by the end of the season. In the 2010/11 season Anderson was on the ice for the league club EV Landsberg and was the most dangerous defender of the Oberliga Süd with 24 hits. In 2011 he moved to Italy. After a season at SG Pontebba , he moved to HC Valpellice in the summer of 2012 .
