The Lower Saxony Cup 2014/15 was the 59th edition of the Lower Saxony Association Cup for men in amateur football. The final between SV Meppen and VfL Osnabrück took place on May 13, 2015 in the Hänsch Arena in Meppen .

VfL Osnabrück won the cup for the third time with a 5: 4 n. E. over SV Meppen .

Both finalists qualified for the first main round of the DFB Cup 2015/16 through their participation in the finals , as Lower Saxony is one of the three state associations with the most men's teams in play and can therefore send two teams to the club cup.

Game mode

An attempt is first made to play a winner in 90 minutes. If it is then a draw, in contrast to other cup competitions, there will be a direct penalty shoot-out without thirty-minute extra time. In the penalty shootout, a winner is then determined according to the known pattern.

Participating teams

For the Lower Saxony Cup 2014/15 , all Lower Saxony teams in the 3rd division 2014/15 and the Regionalliga Nord 2014/15 , all teams in the Oberliga Niedersachsen 2014/15 and the district cup winners of the 2013/14 season qualified . Exceptions were second teams of higher class clubs. The following teams took part in the Lower Saxony Cup this year (the league level in which the club plays is indicated in brackets):
