The Lower Saxony Cup 2018/19 was the 63rd edition of the Lower Saxony men's football association cup. Two teams qualified in separate competitions for the first main round of the 2019/20 DFB Cup , as Lower Saxony is one of the three state associations with the most men's teams in play and can therefore send two teams to the club cup. If one of the two winners had qualified for the DFB Cup via the league placement, the defeated finalist would have moved up. Cup winners were SV Drochtersen / Assel and SV Atlas Delmenhorst .

Game mode

A new mode came into effect for the 2018/19 season. Two separate competitions were played. On the one hand, Lower Saxony teams competed in the third division 2018/19 season and the Regionalliga Nord 2018/19 . In the other competition, the teams of the Oberliga Niedersachsen 2018/19 and the four district cup winners competed . Second teams were not eligible to participate. The game was played in a knockout system . After the end of normal time draw matches were not two 15-minute extended , but immediately by penalties decided. A final between the winners of the two competition trees was not planned. Lower-class teams had home rights.
