Niederwaltenreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Waldhausen in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 24 building areas with 9,997 m² and 17 gardens on 13,710 m² in the cadastral community Niederwaltenreith , in 1989/1990 there were 27 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 53 and in 2009/2010 there were 29 buildings on 53 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 108 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 42 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 105 hectares and 45 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 102 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 45 hectares. Niederwaltenreith's average soil climate is 26.5 (as of 2010).
