Loschberg is a village and a cadastral community in the municipality of Waldhausen in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 28 building areas with 22,840 m² and 22 gardens on 15,881 m² in the Loschberg cadastral community , in 1989/1990 there were 33 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 95 and in 2009/2010 there were 43 buildings on 80 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 123 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 156 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 107 hectares and 170 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 103 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 175 hectares. Loschberg's average soil climate number is 27.4 (as of 2010).
