Obernondorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Waldhausen in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 57 building areas with 27,657 m² and 53 gardens on 39,266 m² in the cadastral community Obernondorf , in 1989/1990 there were 59 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 156 and in 2009/2010 there were 67 buildings on 148 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 240 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 74 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 229 hectares and 83 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 223 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 84 hectares. The average soil climate number of Obernondorf is 26.7 (as of 2010).
