Niedernondorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Waldhausen in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 97 building areas with 45,058 m² and 100 gardens on 91,095 m² in the cadastral community of Niedernondorf , in 1989/1990 there were 106 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 273 and in 2009/2010 there were 131 buildings on 269 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 339 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 141 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 301 hectares and 181 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 273 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 196 hectares. The average soil climate number of Niedernondorf is 24.3 (as of 2010).
