Wiesenreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Waldhausen in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 46 building areas with 22,543 m² and 46 gardens on 40,488 m² in the cadastral community of Wiesenreith , in 1989/1990 there were 48 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 126 and in 2009/2010 there were 47 buildings on 115 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 198 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 97 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 189 hectares and 105 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 177 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 110 hectares. The average soil climate number of Wiesenreith is 23.2 (as of 2010).
