action

Matt Hunter was one of the best men in the secret service until a bomb meant for him killed his parents. He then resigned and retired to his grandfather Jimmy's ranch to take care of his younger sister Sarah. Larry Richards, a successful New Orleans black politician running for the Senate seat , is Matt Hunter's best friend. Because of his skin color and political ambitions, Richards is targeted by Pentangle, an elitist, racist brotherhood from politics and business that wants to get him out of the way.

When an attack is committed on Richards during Mardi Gras , to which his son falls victim, Hunter, who happened to visit him at the same time, has him taken to his grandfather's farm. But the pentangle is already lurking here. Association members kill Richards and the entire family and kidnap Matt's sister. Hunter must now, in order to save his sister, face a life and death fight in the swamps of Louisiana with the leaders of Pentangle. Little by little, Hunter finally manages to defeat the four leaders of Pentangle and save his sister.

Trivia

  • In the 1985 film Invasion USA, starring Chuck Norris , the main character is also called Matt Hunter. That's because the movie was originally planned as a sequel to Invasion USA , again with Chuck Norris in the lead role. When he declined the role was filled with Michael Dudikoff.
  • At one point, the German dubbing deviates from the original American sound. Glastenbury says in the German dubbing "We are right" instead of " Hitler was right".
  • In Israel , the film was released under the title American Ninja 2 , which led to the fact that the actual second part of the series was titled as American Ninja 3 . Thus, there are six American Ninja films in Israel instead of five. The film was also released in France and Belgium as the second part of the American Ninja series.
  • In 2012 the film was removed from the index. A re-examination of the FSK resulted in a release from 16 years for the uncut version.

Reviews

"A cynical action film that aims to have an effect on the viewer by including images from depth psychology in order to justify prejudice and violence."
