The 2016 Nihon Joshi Soccer League marks the twenty-seventh season of the Japanese women's soccer league under that name. It consists of a total of three divisions, the Nadeshiko League Division 1 , the Nadeshiko League Division 2 and the Challenge League, which is held in two seasons . The regular season started in March and is expected to end in late October 2016.
