Nisseviken (fishing place)

Nisseviken (formerly called Marbodar ) is a small town and fishing spot on the Swedish island of Gotland .

Nisseviken is located on the Nisseviken bay of the same name on the west coast in the south of Gotland, 56 km south of Visby , 12 km north-west of Burgsvik and 14 km south-west of Hemse . The postal address is "62337 HAVDHEM".

It lies in the parish ( Swedish socks ) Headlands, in the parish ( Swedish församling ) Havdhems församling and a few kilometers north of the wind farm Näsudden well as a few kilometers south of Hablingbo with museigård Petes .

In Nisseviken there are among others:

  • an area with fishermen's huts called Garngardi
  • a bathing area with a sandy beach and a bridge, which is known for having the warmest water on the Gotland coast
  • a cottage and cottage area (since the 1950s) with around a hundred cottages and cottages
  • a restaurant and café with boat rental and kiosk, where various bands and troubarians often play in the summer months
