The Norwegian Summer Championships in Nordic Combined 2019 took place on September 22, 2019 in Lillehammer . While the men's Gundersen competition was over 10 kilometers, the women's competition was only 5 kilometers. The ski jumping events took place on Lysgårdsbakken , with the women jumping from the normal hill ( K 90 / HS 98 ) while the men jumping from the large hill (K 123 / HS 140). The overall World Cup winner from the previous winter Jarl Magnus Riiber was able to defend his summer title, while the Italian Daniela Dejori prevailed in the women’s category . Surprisingly, the best Norwegian was Mille Moen Flatla .

Gundersen (K 123/10 km)

The best jumping performance was shown by the future champion Jarl Magnus Riiber , who, after his jump at 132.5 meters, went 18 seconds ahead of the trail . There he only showed the seventh best mileage, but was able to defend his lead. Emil Storjord Vilhelmsen was the fastest runner. After Magnus Krog did not start, only 26 of the 27 registered athletes took part in the jump round. In the subsequent cross-country skiing, five other skiers did without the start. In addition, one athlete did not finish.

Gundersen women (K 90/5 km)

A few days before the competition, the Norwegian Ski Association announced the formation of the first female national team. This consists of the three athletes Gyda Westvold Hansen , Marte Leinan Lund and Mari Leinan Lund , who were therefore also favored at the championship. Nine athletes started. While Thea Minyan Bjørseth showed the best jumping performance, Mari Leinan Lund was able to present herself as the fastest runner.
