The substructure of the tower with its arched twin arcades on all four sides goes back to the first building phase around 1180/90. The upper storey, which is covered by a hipped roof, comes from the second building phase around 1230 to 1245. It is pierced by very tall, narrow pointed arches that rest on slender central pillars and that are cut into multiple profiled niches.

South portal

The southern portal was redesigned in the second half of the 16th century in the Renaissance style. The Marian sculpture on the Trumeau pillar dates from the 14th century and was originally located on a portal that is no longer preserved.

The transept chapels are among the oldest parts of the church. They are built over a semicircular floor plan and were covered with a five-part ribbed vault around 1160/70 . The choir and transept were built between 1180 and 1190 . The choir windows were enlarged by 1245/50. In the 15th century, the pillars of the crossing were strengthened and decorated with a flamboyant Gothic decor . The triumphal arch that separates the crossing from the nave also dates from this period. It is designed as a serrated arch over which delicate arcatures with nested pointed arches in the form of nuns' heads run.

The three-aisled nave, which was built in the second construction phase between 1230 and 1245, is attributed to the builder Pierre de Montreuil . It is divided into six yokes . High, pointed arcades resting on mighty pillars separate the main nave from the two side aisles. The columns are with buds capitals decorated. From these rise three slender circular services that accommodate the ribs of the four-part ribbed vault. The walls of the upper aisle are adorned by blind three-way arcades with three-pass arches over which six-pointed oculi are cut.

The large rose window on the west wall was installed in the 19th century.
