Nottersdorf is a district of the community of Niedermurach in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Nottersdorf is about 2 kilometers south of Niedermurach on the northwest bank of the Murach and southeast of the state road 2159 . At Nottersdorf, the Murach swings west from north-south. Two bridges lead from Nottersdorf to the other bank of the Murach, along which the former Nabburg – Schönsee railway runs, which has been converted into a cycle path that is part of the Bavarian-Bohemian Friendship Trail.

history

Nottersdorf was mentioned in writing in the boundary description of the Murach nursing office from 1581. It was under the rule of the Palatinate. One team in the village belonged to the Landgraviate of Leuchtenberg , another to Thomas Philipp von Murach. It was a separate community to which, in addition to Nottersdorf itself, Braunsried, Höflarn and Zankendorf also belonged.

In the "Statistical Description of the Upper Palatinate" by Joseph von Destouches from 1809, Nottersdorf was mentioned with a house as belonging to Fuchsberg and Teunz and belonging to Count Stanislaus von Taufkirchen.

At the beginning of the 19th century, Nottersdorf belonged to the district court of Neunburg vorm Wald . On May 30, 1840, by order of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, the Oberviechtach First Class District Court was created, to which Nottersdorf was assigned.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Nottersdorf was part of the Niedermurach parish and had 13 houses and 75 residents.

In 1946 the government in Regensburg dissolved the Nottersdorf community. Nottersdorf itself came to Niedermurach, Braunsried, Höflarn and Zankendorf to Pertolzhofen. The population of Nottersdorf opposed this regulation and achieved that the municipality of Nottersdorf was restored in its previous form on February 20, 1948.

On December 31, 1968, the municipality of Nottersdorf with its four districts Höflarn, Braunsried, Nottersdorf and Zankendorf had 179 inhabitants and an area of 621 ha.

In the 1960s and 1970s in Nottersdorf, as in many other municipalities in the Upper Palatinate , agricultural land ownership was reorganized through land consolidation . The landscape made up of ponds, ponds, wasteland, field trees and fields , which had been composed like a mosaic until then , has been significantly changed.

On December 31, 1990 Nottersdorf had 75 inhabitants and belonged to the parish of Niedermurach.
