Oberoestheim is a district of the community Diebach in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .
geography
The parish village is located on the Östheimer Mühlbach, a right tributary of the Tauber . In the southeast the corridor area borders Hirtenflecken, in the southwest the Fuchsloch. Approx. Poppenfeld is 0.5 km to the northeast. In the southeast behind the corridor areas there are surveys of the Schillingsfürst-Wettringer Hardt, which is part of the Frankenhöhe .
A community road leads to Unteroestheim (1 km north) or to state road 2419 (1.2 km south). Another communal road leads past the Brexelhof , crossing the St 2419 to Untergailnau (2 km southwest).
history
In 1801 the place had 42 households, of which 31 were subject to the imperial city of Rothenburg and 11 to Brandenburg-Ansbach .
With the community edict (early 19th century) Oberoestheim was assigned to the Gailnau tax district . A little later it was part of the newly formed rural community of Oestheim . In the course of the territorial reform , this was incorporated into Diebach on May 1, 1978.
