Oedhof is a Franconian village in the northern Albrand region .

geography

The village is one of 17 parts of the municipality Eckental in the northeastern part of Middle Franconia . It is located about five and a half kilometers northeast of the center of Eckental and is at an altitude of 392 m above sea level. NHN .

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Oedhof became part of the independent rural community of Benzendorf , to which the village of Illhof also belonged, with the second municipal edict . In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Oedhof and the entire municipality of Benzendorf became part of the newly formed municipality of Eckental in 1972. In 2019 Oedhof had 82 residents.
